Shopping cart contents saved

Customer shopping cart contents can be stored indefinitely. The cart can be recalled if the connection is lost, etc. Cart contents are recalled at subsequent visits until the customer completes the checkout process.

Automatic price check

Shopping carts are checked for current pricing at checkout. If an item price has changed since it was placed in the cart, the price will be automatically updated and reflected in the total.

Secure Merchant supports any ODBC-compliant database to store merchant information. Microsoft® SQL Server™ is supported as the default.

Secure Merchant takes advantage of the latest Microsoft dynamic website and database technologies.

Fast internal data connections

Secure Merchant works directly with database drivers, speeding up connections and eliminating the need to create an ODBC Data Source Name(DSN).

Secure Customer ID creation

Customer ID's are system-generated with non-sequential numbering for increased security.

Dynamic forms

The system modifies itself to ActiveX Data Objects (ADO) compliant databases. By adding fields to the catalog database, Secure Merchant automatically recognizes them (and the type of data they contain). The system then adds the fields to the forms on the website with no HTML editing required!

Support for custom databases

Databases may be customized as often as needed. Unique database items are instantly recognized and supported.

Duplicate order checking

An order cannot be submitted twice. This eliminates frustration and saves everyone a lot of time and money.
